Fulfillment Update 2/28/2020

Hello Global Gladiators,

Here is where we are this week...

Fulfillment Status

Shipments continue to go out this week from all hubs. We have seen a total of 62notifications on our end, 22 of them pledges. From what we've seen there are 38 Errata Packs remaining left to ship and 72 AS Stretch Goals left, confirming that there has indeed been a priority towards missing upgrade packs and stretch goals. However, these should be all done next week and Blackbox will be focusing on remaining pledge tiers. These remaining pledge tiers should include upgrade packs and Aftershock stretch goals as intended. 

We have asked them to contact us immediately if they have any inventory issues at any of their hubs. In addition, we told them not to stop any order if they happen to be missing something (but they would need to contact us and let us know what we needed to send that backer) to ensure there would be no more delays. 

We have seen in the comments that a backer received the following email after contacting Blackbox:

"I'm sorry for the continued delays with the Street Masters Aftershock fulfillment. There have been some issues which have unfortunately delayed our completion of the Street Masters campaign, but we're close to being finished. All we need is a bit more time to get all of our ducks in a row. I understand this process has been frustrating and I appreciate your patience thus far.

At the moment, we're hoping to have the remaining order dispatched within the next 2 weeks. Given how our previous estimates have gone, I would advise you take this information with a grain of salt. Once your order does transmit, you'll receive an email notification from Blackbox. Until then, you're more than welcome to send me any questions you may have. I'll do my best to answer them.

Once again, I'm sorry for the delays and hope you'll let me know if you need anything else."

We inquired about this timeline of 2 weeks to ship out all remaining orders and they they are confident it would be within this time-frame. 

We know this process has been a long a frustrating wait for some of you and we are sorry you weren't able to enjoy your games sooner. It looks like we are approaching the final stretch though and we will do everything in our power on our end to make sure the remaining fulfillment wraps up as quickly as possible.

Hello Global Gladiators,

US/EU/CAN Fulfillment Status

We have been seeing shipping notifications every day this week. Since fulfillment has resumed, we have seen a total of 64 notifications of shipments leaving the hubs.  38 of these were upgrade packs and Aftershock Stretch Goals, and 26 were full pledges. We would love to hear from any backers who have either received tracking information for their order or who may have had their order delivered. The notifications we receive only state what warehouse it comes from and does not include tracking information, so we are not able to track these shipments. 

Australia

Australia has been received in the hub! With this, we should see orders being shipped out after processing. 

Asia

Because of what has been going on with the Corona Virus, per our contact with VFI recently, they wrote, "As you are probably aware there is a quarantine on China now. So we are not going to be operating as soon as we had hoped. Please ask your backers to understand that this is far beyond our control to manage, and we will be working extra hard after we are able to resume operations to get all campaigns out." We are awaiting a firm ETA but have every bit of confidence that they will do their best to catch up once they've returned.

Hello Global Gladiators,

I hope you all had a better Valentine’s Day than I did! I was recovering from an awful stomach virus last week, but luckily I'm feeling better now. I was hoping to post an update last night, but I wanted to confirm some details with my boss and get a final PDF of the upgrade pack to share before posting.

Fulfillment Progress

It looks like we’re starting to see a little love with some confirmed upgrade pack and Aftershock stretch goals getting sent out. There were about 15 sent yesterday, 10 on Thursday, and 5 from Wednesday. There should be a lot more movement on them next week with the possibility of them being completed by the end of next week.

For the Pledge Tiers, since the last update AUS is expecting their items to come in by next week to be processed (meaning entered into the Blackbox system as inventory) to begin shipping. For EU/UK, US, and Canada, we have seen notifications of shipments going out in each region, which means processing in those regions is done and there should be much more activity next week as well.

As for Asia, VFI has informed us that their workers are not back yet because of the coronavirus, and we are awaiting information from them as to when they can begin. We will keep you posted as soon as we hear back. We have asked if there is anything we could do on our end to help. While there isn't, we will remain available to help in any way we can.

We mentioned previously that we would find out how Brexit would affect this project or future projects. Fortunately, they are currently in a "transition" period. So what does this mean?

The transition (sometimes called the implementation period) is due to last until December 31, 2020. During this period, the UK will remain in both the EU customs union and single market. That means, until the transition ends, most things will stay the same and in short, nothing will affect us just yet.

We’ll keep at our updates as we know more information and in a couple of weeks get another status report and possible a blurb from our fulfillment partner on the status of things overall. 

Upgrade Pack Contents

As mentioned in a previous update, we wanted to provide everyone PDFs of the upgrade pack contents. We worked with our graphic designer to get those ready. Not only do we have a checklist of all the cards included in the upgrade pack, but we have included the actual cards in the PDF document.

Happy Monday, Global Gladiators!

Adam here to give you a quick update about what is going on with Aftershock fulfillment.

 Fulfillment Progress

We start off the week with some good news that we received a status update from Blackbox with where we stand with outstanding orders. Here is a breakdown, by region, of the percentage of backers who have received everything they pledged for:

•  US: 75% done
•  EU/UK: 68% done
•  Canada: 65% done
•  AUS/NZ: 78% done
•  Asia: We are hoping to have more information on this next week when VFI returns from Chinese New Year

In addition to these breakdowns by region, Blackbox has informed us that all inventory transfers have reached their respective fulfillment hubs and will be processed this week. The only exception to this is Australia, which will need another week and a half due to the fires that have slowed down shipping in the region.

I also want to assure everyone that we have enough inventory to fulfill all backers of this campaign. I have seen many people who have expressed concern about us running out of stock of certain times, but I want to let you all know that we have no immediate concerns about running out of any of these products before fulfillment is complete.

Missing Upgrade Pack or Aftershock Stretch Goals Box

We are also creating our own list of backers who have contacted us regarding missing upgrade packs and Aftershock stretch goals, that we will send to Blackbox this week to ensure they have the most accurate information in regards to those missing items. If you are an Aftershock Tier backer missing an upgrade pack or a Street Masters Tier backer missing an Aftershock Stretch Goals box, and you have not yet contacted us about it since the last update, please email [email protected] with the subject line "MISSING UPGRADE PACK" or "MISSING AFTERSHOCK SG.”

Missing Addresses

While reviewing the most up to date shipping list Blackbox will be using, we have discovered a handful of backers who do not have addresses on file. We are not sure if this was a result of incomplete pledge managers or not, but we will reach out to these backers individually to ensure that we have the most accurate data to ensure proper fulfillment to these backers.

QA Replacements

I have personally received a shipment of Aftershock QA material that is intended to be used to service backers who have any damaged or missing components in their games. I have set up a temporary warehouse in my basement to get the replacement process started myself.

We are currently able to start shipping out US replacements (which many of you may begin to receive as early as this week) and we are in the process of figuring out the best course for international shipping of these replacements to make sure international backers receive their replacements safely. This is a learning process for me, but so far the US replacements have been going smoothly and I expect things to continue to become more efficient on our end.

A Word From Me

Brady and I cannot thank you all enough for backing Street Masters: Aftershock. We poured countless hours into designing and developing the mountain of content in this game and it means the world to us that so many people are excited to get their hands on it. We know that this has been far from the smoothest Kickstarter fulfillment process, but we want you to know that we are doing everything we can on our end to get everyone their games as quickly as possible. I’m hopeful that we are in the home stretch and soon those of you who still don’t yet have your games can take out any remaining aggression you have on The Brotherhood during your first game (of I hope many games) of Street Masters!

Hello Global Gladiators,

Just a quick note that we have spoken with Blackbox and they told us that the transfer is almost complete and they will tell us the exact day and overall ETA this process will take as well as accurate percentages. Once they tell us we’ll post another update and let you know. Once these are at the respective warehouses, final shipping will commence.

As for Asia Shipping, per our last update we will have a follow-up after people have returned from the Chinese New Year holidays.

Thank you for those who have contacted us in regards to Aftershock stretch goals and upgrade packs that haven’t made it to you yet. For those who have not done so, please contact [email protected]. If you already have since our last update, there are no further steps required on your part. We will get to your email chronologically. As for when we will start seeing movement of these, it should be by next week unless otherwise noted.

Please note that what we've sometimes called the "errata pack" is the same thing as the "upgrade pack." We've had backers asking for errata packs when they had actually already received their upgrade packs, thinking they were different items. We'll make sure to refer to these by their proper name ("upgrade packs") going forward to avoid such confusion. To reiterate, if you pledged for an Aftershock Tier or an Upgrade Pack tier, you will need an Upgrade Pack if you have not already received them in your order. If you are any other tier, you do not need them as the cards in the games you receive already have the upgraded cards within their respective boxes.

Next week, we also intend to have the Upgrade Pack and Rulebooks for Aftershock as PDFs available for download in order to allow those of you still waiting to use the updated content in your games.

We are almost underway with the QA but will make an official announcement for when this begins, most likely next week as we are queuing things in this week.

In other news, we are having final discussions with a very reputable company in regards to translating Street Masters into Chinese for print. Our goal is to use what we learn with this structured localization process as a way to officially plan for Street Masters printed translations for sales in different regions. After understanding the loopholes from our previous Chinese failed partner and also having tried to enlist volunteers, we now have a better grasp of what is needed in terms of contracts and planning. We want Street Masters to be available world wide and positioned to have translated printed content for future expansions in our Street Masters line.
