Latest Updates from Our Project:
Production Done and Last Call for Address Changes

Global Gladiators, time for the July update!
AFTERSHOCK PRODUCTION COMPLETE
Big news: the production of Aftershock is complete! That's right, all materials are printed, wrapped and ready to go!
Our factory worked day and night to churn out all the goodies you've been waiting for, and we couldn't be more pleased with their performance and the quality of the final product.
With that, things are now sitting on palettes awaiting pick up for transport to the docks, where they'll eventually be loaded into shipping containers and loaded onto boats. How exciting is that?
IMPORTANT: LAST CALL FOR ADDRESS CHANGES
This is very important: if the shipping address you inserted into your pledge manager is no longer where you want your rewards delivered, you must email [email protected] with your updated address so we can make the change for you.
You have until August 15th to do so.
If you get your address change request in by that date, we will be able to make the change for you.
If you do not, it will be up to you to ensure you can still access the addresson file to receive your delivery.
GENCON 2019
We will be at GenCon 2019 next week! From August 1 to August 4, you can find myself, the bros and the rest of the team at booth #2504 (near Exhibit Hall entrance F).
Original Street Masters reprint products available at the booth
Very exciting news: the factory completed the reprint of products from the first Street Masters Kickstarter (lovingly referred to by many as "Street Masters Wave 1") before the Aftershock content, and we've managed to get limited advanced stock air shipped to us for the event! If there were any items from this lineup (Street Masters, Twin Tiger, Redemption, BattleCon ally pack) that you didn't pick up during the Kickstarter, you'll have a chance to get them!
Compendium available at the booth
But wait, the exciting news doesn't stop there. With the Compendium being a book and not a board game, we had different resources dedicated to its production and were also able to get advanced copies shipped for GenCon. That's right: if you didn't pick up the Compendium during the Kickstarter, we will have some copies of it at our booth! Come by, pick one up and if you'd like, have the team sign it!
Max Ally/Rival promo card
We have very limited copies of the Max Ally/Rival promo card available; anyone who purchases something at our booth will be able to get one, while supplies last!
Regarding stock
Now, an important note is that GenCon stock cannot be used for early Kickstarter reward pickup. We understand that some of you might wish this was possible, but doing so would cause many logistics issues with our backer database, stock attribution and fulfillment center databases; clearly we wish to avoid this and ensure a smooth fulfillment process to make sure EVERYONE gets their games. Therefore, if you're a backer dropping by our booth, we'll be happy to say hi and chat, but we won't be able to give you any of the rewards you pledged for. Those will come in the mail during regular fulfillment.
Some of you might also wonder why we're selling the reprint products at a convention when this Kickstarter hasn't delivered to backers yet. That's a very valid question, and the answer is multifaceted. Firstly, we specifically chose only the gameplay products that have been available in the past. We wanted to ensure you all got Aftershock (lovingly referred to as "wave 2" by us) products before anyone else, so those were left out. The Compendium is an exception, yes, but since that is a book and not a gameplay element, we decided it would be an exciting new showcase of what Blacklist Games can do.
And ultimately, this leads to the second point: for indie publishers like Blacklist Games, conventions like GenCon are an important lifesource to ensure a stable future and lay the groundwork for future projects. Not only financially, but also to attract new fans by showing them what we've made and what we can do. Having products for newcomers is essential for this. While we know you are all beyond excited to receive your rewards (as are we!), we also know you want us to keep bringing you exciting games! So, we hope you understand why we took this decision!
Social Media GenCon Contest
It wouldn't be GenCon without a little contest, now would it?
To participate, come by our booth (2504) and take a photo posing (selfie or with friends) with one of our three product banners: Altar Quest, Brook City, or Street Masters.
Then, post the image to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram while:
using the hashtags #Gencon and #GenCon2019
explaining what about the game makes you excited
tagging us @blacklistgames (or @blacklistgames_ on Twitter)
mentioning we are at booth 2504
The contest will run from August 1 to the end of the hall hours for August 3rd. Then, the team will retire for the night and go through all the posts and pick 2 winners! We will judge on clarity among other things, so make sure to get a good shot of yourself and the banner (as long as you can clearly see the game name).
The winners will each get one signed copy of the Street Masters Compendium!
We will announce the winners on our social media channels the night of August 3rd/morning of August 4th, and the winners can come to the booth on August 4th to get their prizes.
Hope to see you at Gencon!
BLACKLIST GAMES BRIEF EPISODE 2
For those of you who like to get their news in video format, I recorded our second episode of the Blacklist Games Brief and uploaded it to our YouTube channel! While you'll all be aware of the Aftershock news, there are a few Altar Quest morsels in there as well should that interest you. Take a look!
REMINDER: CONTACTING BLACKLIST GAMES
Just as a reminder: if you need to contact us, please send us an email at the appropriate email address below (the Kickstarter inbox is not monitored outside of a live Kickstarter campaign).
If you have an issue with an existing order/pledge:
And that's it for July! We hope to see many of you at GenCon, and we will be back next month with a new status update.
Until then ...

Production Proofs!
– Tue, Jul 02, 2019 at 02:57:22 AM
Global Gladiators, time for the June update!
"But it's July 1st!" you say. Indeed, we slipped through June, but that was because we were waiting for something special: production proofs!
That's right, the Sadlers were sent some proofs of what the production versions of the different boxes will look like, and they received them this morning. In fact, they were so excited they held an impromptu unboxing video on our YouTube channel!
"What about the Aftershock Collector's Box?" you ask. While we were planning on having a big bunch of pictures to show off, the factory had some last minute things to do to make sure it's perfect for its public unveiling, so those will have to wait until the next update. It will be well worth the wait, I promise! Actually, we've been told the Sadlers should expect to get a proof of it in the near future, so make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don't miss the moment they dive into it!
Now, as backers, you get the first photos of all these amazing items so you can see them up close and personal! Are you ready for this? It's a photo explosion!
Let's go!
With regards to the photo above: due to a minor error, the factory made 2 extra Tommy minis. While this means you'll have spares, this also means 2 of the Plumber minis did not get their own dedicated tray positions. To avoid delays with delivery, the 2 "homeless" Plumber minis will be provided in a baggy secured inside an extra tray well.
Now, while we did not get the Aftershock box, we did get some various proofs from its content!
TURBO DICE
During the campaign, you all unlocked Turbo Mode, an exciting new optional mode that can increase the speed of your Street Masters games. To play said mode, you need Turbo Dice, which you are all receiving in your Aftershock stretch goals box!
Here they are, produced and ready to rock your table! Note that these images were sent from the factory a week or so ago, and the dice here have some residue from the machine on them. Yours will be nice and clean!
COMPENDIUM
The compendium is now printed and waiting! It will be delivered to backers along with the rest of their rewards when Aftershock fulfills! For more details on its contents, see last month's update.
Things are looking good, aren't they? We cannot wait for you all to experience these new additions to the Street Masters universe!
Until next month, Global Gladiators!

"May" We Show You What's New?
– Fri, May 31, 2019 at 09:18:42 PM
Global Gladiators, welcome to the May update! Apologies for the delay; our contacts at The Citadel had sent an agent into the heart of Ransom City to gather what we needed, but an ambush by The Proxy and his cleanup crew threw a wrench into the gears of the operation. Thankfully, a few formidable fighters came to the rescue and bought the operative a few precious moments to escape!
Hopefully when you see all the content in this update, you'll agree it was worth the effort!
Now, there's lots to get through, so let's dive right in!
PAPER PROOFS
Over the last month, the factory has sent the team a lot of proofs to go over in terms of items that will be printed on cardstock. So, the Sadlers spent many days going over many cards and many dividers in order to ensure they were 100% correct! Here are a few photos to show you what we mean:
The Sadlers recorded a video on our YouTube channel at the end of April to show off some of this stuff themselves and talk about the proofing process, so take a look if you missed it:
BOX PROOFS
Moving on from cards and dividers to box proofs! As you'll note, the Aftershock collector's box is not here and that's because the factory was saving the best for last and we will be getting photos of that for the next update! If anything, such a magnificent box deserves its own spotlight, right?
You'll notice how the reprinted expansion boxes (Twin Tiger, Legend of Oni, and the SG box) from the first wave of Street Masters are now half the thickness! We're really happy with the way these turned out and how much more economical they are space-wise. These are also shown off in the video above, should you want more info!
PLAYER MAT PROOF
We also received a proof for the gorgeous player mat. It came out great, and we love seeing the functional layout in person. It feels nice and soft, yet thick and sturdy for great gameplay. We unfurled it and took photos for you to enjoy. In hindsight, we could have flattened it out a bit more but we were too excited!
Check out that sweet stitching! This one will last you forever!
Again, watch the video above if you'd like to see the Sadlers discuss this beauty!
COMPENDIUM PROOF
Our beautiful book is looking extra beautiful now that we've held the proof in our hands! This gorgeous hardcover comes in at 152 pages of Street Masters lore, art, and gameplay tips, plus 20 pages of rules (Street Masters and Aftershock)! Again, the Sadlers show it off in the video above but here are some pictures to show a bit more!
Phew! That's a lot of stuff, and that's barely scratching the surface of what this book offers. You are all in for a treat when it hits your tables!
3D PRINTED MINIS
We've continued through the 3D printing process for the miniatures, to essentially make sure we were happy with the final sculpts before moving on to the red wax minis, where we see the finer details. Again, these 3D prints aren't as detailed as the final minis are supposed to be (you'll see a lot of rough edges, lack of depth and detail, bases being a little off, etc), and are only used to test their integrity and overall pose.
Here are a few more photos of this part of the process so you can take a look yourselves!
RED WAX MINIS
We did start getting a few red wax minis in over the last month too! These are to inspect fine detail and once we're happy, they will be used to create the final molds with which the final production minis are made. Here's a few photos for you!
ALTAR QUEST NOW ON KICKSTARTER
We recently launched our latest project, Altar Quest, on Kickstarter! This is the Sadler brothers' latest foray into the fantasy genre, but this time they are brining the power of the MDS with them to create a fantasy adventure unlike any you've experienced before!
Altar Quest is a cooperative game of fantasy adventure for 1–4 players and is based in the brothers' all-original setting inspired by high fantasy and Gothic horror.
We'd love if you checked out the campaign to support the Sadlers and Blacklist Games so we can keep bringing you more of the games you love! We've unlocked exciting stretch goals such as a new hero deck, a new villain deck, a new threat deck, tons of lurkers and traps ... come join in and help us unlock more!
That's it for this month's update, everyone! Hope your eyes feasted on all the photos. We'll be back next month with more, including photos of the much anticipated Aftershock collector's box.
Until then,
Keep fighting!

Global Gladiators,
we're here today with a quick little update to let you all know that the Sadlers have just received Aftershock samples from the factory! Specifically, paper samples for printed items like the rules, dividers and cards ... and the Compendium!
If you'd like to see some of these samples yourselves, tune into our live stream in roughly 20 minutes (12pm EDT) on our YouTube channel, where the brothers will be showing them off and answering some questions.
