Global Gladiators, time for the April update!

Pledge Manager Closed

The pledge manager is now officially closed. Thanks to all of you who completed it in time. If you have any concerns regarding your existing order, please email our brand new, dedicated email address [email protected] and we'll take a look for you.

If you did not complete your pledge manager prior to its closing, please contact us at the same email address to let us know.

Of course, should you require an address change prior to the games shipping, you can let us know at the same address as well until we make an update to advise that addressed are being locked.

3D Test Prints

Citadel agents have been busy hunting for any information relating to The Kingdom's nefarious activities, and in the process have come across some very interesting photographs! 

They indicate that the Street Masters factory is currently producing low-res 3D mini prints to test sculpt integrity before creating detailed red wax minis for casting/molding tests. With you all being part of the Global Gladiators initiative, we think it's important you set your eyes on this new intel!

Again, these are not representative of the final minis' quality; they are simply low-res, 3D prints for testing sculpt integrity. The moment we get photos of the detailed red wax minis, we'll share those!

Renegade Reptiles Renders

You've been asking for them, so here they are: Crunk, Wicked, Grill and Glam ... otherwise known as the Renegade Reptiles! With them as always is their sensei, the formidable feline known as Master Pie!

But, watch out dudes and dudettes! Just when you thought it was safe to head back into the sewer ... it's their arch-nemesis, the trashy titan himself: Recyclord!

The situation might look grim for the Renegade Reptiles with ol' garbagehead around ... but these minis are looking totally tubular!

Now, the real question is: which one of our most-excellent backers wants to come up with a bodacious theme song for our team of heroes?

here we are again, back with a second March update! First, a reminder, then a ton of great previews!

Aftershock Pledge Manager Closing This Sunday, March 24, 11:59PM PDT. 

Sunday, March 24 is the last day for many things: unlock requests, refunds, and completion of your BackerKit survey, regardless of if you are a Kickstarter backer or a late pledger. Please make sure to add all your items and close the survey by then. You'll know your survey was closed when you receive the "Survey Confirmation" email. If you haven't and are unsure, please email us at info@blacklistgames with your name, email address assigned to your account and your pledge details so we can check.

"Guess that Stage Art...Again!" Results

In our last update, we challenged you all to a game. We gave you a series of stage deck art pieces and asked you to guess which stage each belong to.

Backers Lukas Buergi, Nope & Jackal managed to guess each of them correctly! Congrats!

Stage Tile Previews

Alright, we've previewed many exciting minis, art pieces and more ... but now it's time to reveal some brand new stage tiles for the first time!

Street Masters Compendium Update

Our amazing hardcover Street Masters lore and art book is finishing up! We wrote more than we'd anticipated, so you're truly going to get a deep look into the rich backstories of each character and the overall Street Masters Universe! You'll pick up on things in the story decks that, while not crucial to understanding the in-game plot, will make you say "Ah ha! I remember that from X's story!" and "Oh, I know what this means!"  

And maybe, just maybe, you'll pick up on hints of things to come ... 

For our art fans, we're happy to announce we've added 8 whole new pages to the art gallery! Yup, that takes it from 15 pages to 23 pages dedicated solely to the amazing visuals of the Street Masters line. Don't forget, each of the 160+ pages in this book (fighters, enemies, stages, etc) features tons of great art as well, so this truly is a book for art lovers!

Oh and of course, as a reminder: the complete Street Masters core rulebook, as well as the Aftershock rulebook, will be included at the end of the book for easy reference!

Here are a few more previews as we prep to finalize this bad boy. As always, quick disclaimer to say that everything you're about to see is "work in progress," meaning things are always in flux as we strive to improve where we can, and might look differently in the final product.

It's March, Global Gladiators! Time for your monthly update, a little early this time around to convey important information regarding the pledge manager.

Pledge Manager Closing Date

We've heard your numerous requests to extend the pledge manager, and have been working behind the scenes to allow this to happen. However, it is important that we do not hold up production of the game so we can deliver it in a timely manner. With our schedule laid out as is, we have been able to allow for an extension of the pledge manager until March 24. On this day, the pledge manager, late pledges, and window for refunds will close, so make sure to finalize your pledges before then.

If you have the need to reopen your pledge to add content to your survey in BackerKit, please email us at [email protected] before that date.

Development Progress Report

Everything is currently with the production facilities, so mini red wax samples are being made as we speak and layouts are being prepped. Once everything is approved and set, full production will be ready to go!

Time to unleash Clan Hattori, and an older, wiser, and hairier (well, EXTRA hairier in this render to ensure the details pop when produced) Chan Chan!

Guess That Stage Art - Answers

Last time, we asked you to try and guess which stages the art we displayed belonged to. No one got it exactly right, but the closest was: Jackal (yes, the backer, not the mad scientist who works for The Kingdom)! Good job!

Global Gladiators, we're back again with our monthly update!

Yeah, we know we already had an update earlier this month, but that was a special one for the pledge manager! Besides, you guys are the best backers ever; we decided you deserved a second update in February!

First, however, an important PSA:

How to Add Items to a Locked BackerKit Order

Many of you have asked if it is normal that once you've completed your BackerKit survey and your credit card has been charged, that you cannot go back and add additional items to your order.

This is indeed normal; BackerKit, unlike some other pledge manager sites out there, does not seem to support letting backers "unlock" their pledges themselves. Only the project creators (in this case, Blacklist Games) can do so. 

So, if you have completed your survey and have been charged, but have realized you would like to add more content to your order, please email us at [email protected] with the list of items you would like to add to your order and we will help you out.

Development Progress Report

All Aftershock cards and other written content are currently undergoing extensive proofreading. Once that's done, all gameplay items will be sent to the printers to start churning out some proofs!  

Additionally, the final touches on the gorgeous Street Masters Compendium layout are being made, with proofreading taking place at the same time. Once that's done ... yep, off to the printers as well! 

Your game and book shelves are going to look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G once you get all your Street Masters treats!

There weren't any that were requested more than others, so we thought we'd spice things up: we're going to show you art (not necessarily from the requested ones) and we aren't going to tell you which stage each belongs to! Can you figure it out?

First image is #1, second is #2, etc. Go ahead and write your guesses for each number in the comments. During next month's update, we'll reveal who got it right! 

Oh and just to be clear, not every stage is represented here. Also, each piece is for a different stage (meaning no stage has two pieces of art shown here).
